Two and a half years later, the GSFE Admins are all together at the ITEC Conference in Ds Moines, IA and had the chance to record a podcast.  Friend of the show, Kate Petty of Apps Events was able to join us as we discussed chromebooks for educators.  These aren't your student devices, these are designed with teachers in mind.

School's back and this year brings all the usual issues and some new ones thanks to COVID-19. The admins will discuss what has changed with G Suite (aside from the name), what has worked, and what has failed. These are interesting times and they do not look to be getting any less interesting.

COVID-19 has closed the majority of schools in the United States and that drastically changes the average day of a GSFE Admin, and most likely our role in the district. Schools are looking very quickly at distant learning and tools that can be used. We will discuss all of this and more.

Fun Fact: Karl was actually at the same resort as the conference, but he wanted to make a surprise entrance that evening, so he hid from us and made us Zoom him into the event. What a jerk!
